Refund and Cancellation Policy

Saroj Foundation is committed to fair and transparent processing of all donations. We encourage donors to exercise due care and diligence while making contributions. This policy outlines the guidelines regarding refunds and cancellations of donations made to Saroj Foundation via our website (www.sarojfoundation.org).

Donations Are Generally Non-Refundable

• Once a donation has been received and processed, it is generally non-refundable and cannot be cancelled under normal circumstances.
• All donations are utilized for charitable initiatives and community welfare projects as per the organization’s mandate.
• Please carefully review the donation details and organization’s causes before confirming your donation.

Exceptions to Refund Policy

• Refund requests will only be considered if:
  • Donations were made due to technical errors, or duplicate transactions occurred.
  • Donation was made erroneously, and a written request for refund is submitted within a defined period (typically within 7 to 15 days from the date of donation).
• Refunds will not be processed if a tax exemption certificate has been issued and/or availed by the donor.

Refund Request Process

• All refund requests must be made in writing or via email, including the following details:
  • Date of donation
  • Donation amount
  • Payment method
  • Proof of transaction (eg. donation ID, payment gateway reference)
• Requests must reach Saroj Foundation within 7 days from the date of donation.
• Approved refunds will be credited back to the original mode of payment within 15 business days from approval.

Decision and Communication

• Saroj Foundation reserves the right to examine and approve or decline any refund requests at its discretion.
• The decision of Saroj Foundation regarding refunds will be final and binding on the donor.
